Recurrent education: its effects on the Austrian education system
This account of one of a series of seminars sponsored by OECDCERI discusses the state of recurrent education in Austria and its effect upon educational organization - Papers were presented on such diverse topics as the role of recurrent education in correcting some of the mistakes in educational policies of the sixties and its relationship to establishments providing secondary education, higher education and adult education. Papers on recurrent education and employment touched upon such topics as educational leave, unemployment, educational finance and the way recurrent education is regarded by both employers and employees. More generally the concepts of motivation, lifelong education and the future of recurrent education were dealt with.
