Coffee bean dicaffeoylquinic acids

Recently the presence of 1,3-dicaffeoylquinic acid (IUPAC numbering) has been reported in green coffee beans. This paper presents HNMR, polarimetric and chromatographic data which suggest that this report, based upon the interpretation of fast atom bombardment mass spectra, may be in error
