Terminal Evaluation of the UNEP GEF project: Enhancing Conservation of the Critical Network of Sites required by Migratory Waterbirds on the African/Eurasian Flyways

This is a terminal evaluation of a UNEP/GEF project implemented between 2005 and 2009. The project's main objective was to Conservation of globally significant migratory waterbirds and wetlands enhanced in the African – Eurasian flyways. The immediate objective was to strengthened strategic capacity to plan and manage the conservation of migratory waterbirds and the critical sites along their flyways. The terminal evaluation was undertaken to assess the actual performance and results of the Project against the planned project activities and outputs, at the regional, national, and local levels.
