Sustainability Standards in the Vietnamese Aquaculture Sector

This study contains a survey involving 55 farms and processors in both shrimp and pangasius in Vietnam. It shows positive results for the application of sustainable certification in the shrimp sector, and to a lesser extent, for pangasius. In shrimp aquaculture, the effect of sustainability certification on the net economic benefits (gross margin) for both farms and processors are positive.
