FIRST REPORT OF CACTUS WEEVIL (Cactophagus spinolae Gyllenhal) (COLEOPTERA: CURCULIONIDAE) FEEDING ON PITAHAYA (Selenicereus undatus) (Haw.) D.R. Hunt (CACTACEAE) IN GUERRERO, MEXICO

ABSTRACT This is the first report of Cactophagus spinolae feeding and causing damage to the stem, vascular fleshy tissue, flower bud and fruit of pitahaya (Selenicereus undatus) plants in the urban area of the state of Guerrero, Mexico.
