Negative consequences of pesticides on the environment.

Some of the negative collateral effects on the environment by the use of pesticides are described. In addition, the main conditioning factors that induce poblems to occur with more frequency and intensity in developing countries, as compared to the industrialized countries, are noted. Finally, some options and provide examples aiming to decrease or eliminate the use of those substances and, consequently, the problems related to the use of pesticides, are suggested.
