Miscelanea 145 (2022): Las plantas vasculares de El Mollar Tafí del Valle, Tucumán, Argentina

This work allows us to visualize and assess vascular plant species from El Mollar, Tafí del Valle department, Tucumán province, a place with a high landscape, ecological, economic and cultural value. A number of 111 specific and infraspecific taxa belonging to 39 families of plants were collected in the localities of El Potrerillo, El Rincón and Las Carreras. A brief description of the taxa is made, including common name, status, distribution in Argentina, conservation category, reference material and illustrations. The percentage of non-endemic native species is 65%, endemic native 19%, naturalized 15% and adventitious 1%. Regarding the conservation categories of 96 native species, only 62.5% have not been evaluated (NE) and the remaining 37.5% is placed in different categories.The botanical information provided here is a strategy to treat and protect this complex and important ecosystem with a stronganthropogenic impact.
