Colombian Proposal on the National Interpretation of the Principles and Criteria of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm oil

The article presents a balance of the actions performed in the oil palm sector to achieve RSPO approval for its national interpretation of the organization's Principles and Criteria, which is expected to be submitted next July. The authors highlight the urgency of obtaining approval as soon as possible due to the serious questioning of palm oil production companies that do not yet have proper sustainability certification, and are consequently being left out of important markets.
