Barbados identifies thirty-two alleged breaches of Caricom free trade rules. Barbados Minister of Industry and Commerce, Senator Reginald Farley states he is bemused by the methods and extent to which Caricom countries circumvent the rules on free trade. Trinidad and Tobago's role as a launching pad for British investments in Latin America was the subject of a discussion seminar in London. Tony Baldry, Britain's Foreign Office Minister for the Caribbean explains Trinidad's important role. Sidney Knox, Chairman of Trinidad's conglomerate Neal and Massy, comments on doing business in Latin America and whether there are any concrete results.
