Emissiemetingen stallen voor biologisch gehouden leghennen : Onderzoek naar emissies uit twee stallen met biologische leghennen

This report describes the result of emission measurements at two poultry houses containing organic laying hens. Organic laying hens are kept differently from regular housed laying hens, which gave reason for measurements in organic laying poultry houses. Measurements are performed in two houses containing 12.000 brown laying hens each. Measurements consists of T, RH, CO2, CH4, N2O, NH3, odor and PM10. This resulted in these values: • Ammonia emission: 0,174 (± 0,075) kg/animal place per year • Methane emission: 17,6 (± 4,1) g/animal place per year • Particulate matter emission: 89 (± 55) g/animal per year • Odor emission: 0,449 OUE/animal place per second.
