Postmortaal onderzoek van bruinvissen (Phocoena phocoena) uit Nederlandse wateren, 2018 : Biologische gegevens, gezondheidsstatus en doodsoorzaken

This annual report present the results of post-mortem examinations of porpoises (Phocoena phocoena) in 2018. In 2018, 50 dead harbour porpoises were examined: 32 males and 18 females, including 16 adults, 31 juveniles and 3 neonates. Most of the harbour porpoises examined died as a result of infectious diseases and grey seal attacks (both 28%), followed by probable bycatch (16%).
