Report on the eel stock and fishery in the Netherlands 2013
This report covers among others time-series data, fishing capacity, fishing effort, catches and landings concerning eels in the Netherlands. During the development of the current models for the evaluation of the eel management plan in the Netherlands, the main weaknesses of the current methodology surfaced quickly. The main recommendations to improve the quality of the assessment before the next evaluation in 2015 are listed.
