An Experience with people in curriculum planning and material production: a report of the village camp at Tirokoshtiyun

The main objectives of this village camp in India were to encourage participant involvement in curriculum development for adult education programmes and to study the use of the mother tongue in materials preparation for teaching and learning - The camp encouraged people to discuss community problems. These problems, which include social problems, economic factors, political issues such as village organization, health and hygiene and cultural activities are discussed and solutions suggested by the participants of the camp. The final part of this booklet describes the procedures evolved for producing and using instructional materials for literacy.
