Programme and procedure outline
The papers which comprise this booklet offer first a plan for materials preparation and second a curriculum outline for inservice courses of literacy teachers - The first paper describes a workshop on the preparation of problem-oriented instructional materials conducted at the Literacy House, Lucknow, India. The format of the workshop, teaching techniques and a sample of curriculum development are given. The second paper briefly outlines the curriculum for an orientation cum training course for project officers and supervisors of nonformal education programmes. Various components of the course organization include the study of nonformal education concepts, the use of learning materials and the importance of evaluation and follow-up.
