Media Advisory - Experts discuss migration data and evidence-based policy making ahead of GCM meeting
The Pan-African Institute for Statistics Statafric will hold a round table on “Enhancing migration data and evidence-based policy making in Africa: recent initiatives and next steps”. This meeting will take place ahead of the Africa Regional Review Conference of the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration (GCM) with the goal of providing an overview of recent initiatives and share lessons learned that contribute to accelerating the successful implementation of Objective 1 (Data) and Objective 3 (Information provision) of the Global Compact for Migration.
