Resolution 982(1995) concerning Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Security Council, recalling all its previous relevant resolutions on the conflicts in the territory of the former Yugoslavia and reaffirming in this context its Resolution 947 (1994) of 39 September 1994 on the mandate of the United Nations Protection Force (UNPROFOR) and subsequent relevant resolutions, Having considered the report of the Secretary-General of 22 March 1995, Affirming its commitment to the search for an overall negotiated settlement of the conflicts in the former Yugoslavia, ensuring the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all the states there within their internationally recognized borders, and stressing the importance it attaches to the mutual recognition thereof, reaffirming its commitment to the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
