Trinidad and Tobago. Significant achievements 2021

The main activities carried out by the Institute in Trinidad and Tobago during 2021 are identified, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, strengthening digital technologies, ecology, sustainability, digital commerce, food safety and sanitation, climate-smart agriculture, and soil and water management. Likewise, work was done on importing apples and pears from Argentina; as well as support for small and medium-sized enterprises. Finally, vetiver grass cultivation is used as a green engineering solution; as well as pest control and the development of the "FarmVue" application for production registration.
