Mixed infection of Asclepias curassavica L. in Ecuador : Rhabdovirus-like Particles and Phytomonas sp

In Ecuador, some #Asclepias curassavica# L. plants express leaf yellowing and premature death. Examination of symptomatic leaves by electron microscopy revealed a mixed infection of #Phytomonas# and #Rhabdovirus#-type particles. The origin of the pathological symptoms is discussed.
