Estudo do processo de desenvolvimento e da construçao do espaço rural para subsidiar o planejamento

The analysis of development process and rural space evolution realized by the URCA-NE (Training and Rural Development Support Regional Unit of the Northeast) and CUTSA-EMBRAPA (Semi-Arid Tropical Agronomic Research Center) aimes to provide planning and development useful information by: the valorisation of available elements and data banks; the conduction of specific studies (actors strategies, farming systems, development trajectories, production and processing network and markets ... The operational approach is based on three topics: an Agrarian Dynamics Regional Observatory; the analysis of local experiences, localised in their regional context, by the Development Trajectories study and modelling; the Institutional Analysis (critical reflexion about extension agents and institutions practices). This paper is giving more emphasy to the second point, the Development Trajectories study as a method for local planning and more particularly as a tool able to provide new references and models for the information system (Regional Observatory Network).
