Country Program Evaluation: Colombia 2015-2018

This document discusses the Office of Evaluation and Oversights (OVE) evaluation of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) Country Program with Colombia for 2015-2018. This is OVEs fifth independent evaluation of the IDB Groups program with Colombia. This country program evaluation takes a close look at the design, implementation, and results of operations approved or active between 2015 and December 2018, while keeping in mind country circumstances and pertinent strategic documents. Colombia is an upper-middle-income country with a population of more than 45.5 million. In terms of per capita GDP, it is the wealthiest country in the Andean region. The services sector accounts for a significant share of GDP, while exports are strongly dependent on fuels and the extractive industries.
