Juvenile trout, Cynoscion nebulosus, Black drum, Pogonias cromis, and sheepshead, Archosargus probatocephalus, increased in Matagorda Bay, but decreased in Galveston Bay and the lower Laguna Madre. Declines in abundance were noted for flounder, Paralichthys lethostigma, in Galveston, Matagorda, and San Antonio Bays and in the Lower Laguna Madre.
