Многолетняя динамика фауны Балтийского моря
Zooplankton dynamics in the Baltic Sea (1949-1977) and in the Gulf of Riga (1960-1977) was considered on the base of the analysis of long-term materials. The changes of its qualitative and quantitative composition are shown, the increase of productivity in all the investigated areas due to the dynamics of water regime and sea eutrophication was observed. Long-term changes of bottom fauna in the Eastern Baltic (1965— 1976) and in the Gulf of Riga (1958—1976) were considered. The increase of zoobenthos biomass in the zone of middle depths in the Baltic Sea and coastal (10—30 m) zone in the Gulf of Riga, rise of the lower border of species inhabitancy and predomination of polytypic steady to pollution species were observed.
