Desempenho produtivo de ovelhas em caatinga raleada e enriquecida recebendo diferentes quantidades de concentrado.

Resumo: Em pastos de caatinga raleada e enriquecida, trinta e duas ovelhas prenhes de gestação simples foram separadas em quatro tratamentos (0; 200; 350 e 500 g concentrado dia-1), a fim de determinar o desempenho durante o ciclo produtivo. A ingestão de concentrado em 500 g dia-1 proporcionou às ovelhas maior peso (P<0,05) em relação as que não receberam concentrado, para os pesos à lactação e ao desmame. A suplementação concentrada favorece a recuperação do peso vivo perdida após o parto. [Ewes performance in thinned and enriched caatinga rangelands with different amounts of concentrate]. Abstract: Thirty two pregnant ewes in thinned and enriched caatinga rangeland were divided in four groups (0, 200, 350 and 500 g concentrate day-1), to determine the performance during the productive cycle. The voluntary intake of 500 g concentrate day-1 promoted to sheep higher weights (P<0.05) in relation to sheep without concentrate, to weights during lactation and weaning. The supplementation contributed to better body weight recovery lost during calving.
