RNA-Seq of A. flavus at different temperature, water activity, and CO2 levels
This study aimed to investigate how the growth and metabolism of A. flavus on maize kernels are affected by different environmental conditions related to climate change. We exposed the fungus to two temperatures (30, 37 C), two water activities (0.93 and 0.985 aw) and two CO2 levels (444, 1000 ppm) and measured the changes in gene expression and metabolite production over time.
