Pseudomonas lactis strain:SS101 Genome sequencing and assembly

bacterial cells grown in pure culture. Pseudomonas fluorescens strain SS101 was isolated from the rhizosphere of wheat grown in soil collected from a polder near the city of Bergen op Zoom in The Netherlands (PMID:14660362). Strain SS101 suppresses several plant diseases including Pythium root rot of hyacinth and tomato late blight (PMID:17688588) and produces the cyclic lipopeptide massetolide A (PMID:17993540).
