Escherichia coli Genome sequencing and assembly

We sampled surface soil isolates of Escherichia coli from phylogroups B1B and D to measure their capacity to survive in adverse soil conditions. Whole genome sequencing was performed on E. coli isolates to find genomic variation associated with high and low death rate phenotypes.
