Very high spatial resolution land use / land cover map of a 84km2 part of the Vavatenina District, Analanjirofo Region, Madagascar, 2019

This map gives the spatial distribution of the main agricultural systems and land uses present in an area of study of landscape dynamics in Madagascar. It consists of an area of 84 square kilometers located at the West of Vavatenina town, in the Analanjirofo Region, on the North-East coast of Madagascar. This map is based on Pleiades very high spatial resolution multispectral images (50cm/pixel) acquired in 2019, and field reference data. The nomenclature includes 13 classes, with both agroforestry and annual cropping systems, various fallows discriminated on the basis of their density and diversity, water bodies and anthropized areas. The global precision of this map is 80%.
