Farms in Cabo-Delgado province at the turn to a new century

Survey along 900 farms in the 1999-2000 cropping season, growing cotton or not, to provide information on the characteristics of the farms, farmers and their families, as well as the crops grown on a sample of plots. The survey informs on the use of fertilizers and insecticides and the recourse to extra-family labour. It gives an insight on farmers' possession of bicycles and radio sets a few years after the civil peace was re-established.
