Prueba de patrones injertados con el Coffea arabica L. cv. Isla 5-3

Several rootstocks were tested for grafting with Coffea arabica cv. Isla 5-3 at Villa Clara, Cuba, using a cotyledon grafting technique. The rootstocks tested were: C. liberica, C. dewevrei, C. dewevrei cv. Dibowskii, C. canephora cv. Robusta, C. canephora cv. Conilon and C. arabica cv. Maragogipe. Success rate, stem diameter and plant height were evaluated. The rootstocks C. dewevrei Dibowskii and C. arabica cv. Maragogipe had high affinity and compatibility with C. arabica cv. Isla 5-3.
