La protection des cultures contre les maladies parasitaires dans les régions intertropicales :
Agricultural methods in intertropical regions range from the most archaic to the most industrialized. Gene fluxes from spontaneous plants keep irrigating cultivated varieties, thereby allowing the latter to permanently adjust to the evolving pathogenicity of their enemies. Or, in extreme cases, cultivated varieties have become totally dependent upon farmers for their genome. They have to face either parasites with which they have co-evolved or parasites which are brand-new to them. The various means of protection, genetic, chemical, biological, and sanitary, are not equally available and usable in every circumstance. We analyze their relevance with respect to the diverse situations found in intertropical regions
