A comparison of new fungicide application equipment on coffee in Kenya, 3

The physical and mechanical attributes which govern the efficacy of spray machines are described in relation to the wheel barrow power sprayer (Hardi, KS) and Hardi RY 15, manually operated hydraulic knap-sack sprayer. Results obtained from the physical assessments of the two tested spray equipment indicate that satisfactory cover in all positions and heights of coffee bushes have been achieved. The difference in the degree of spray coverage was not significant. These spray equipment have been recommended for fungicide application on coffee in Kenya
