A comparison of some of fungicide application equipment on coffee in Kenya
Even distribution of the recommended rates of protective fungicides on the target of infection are paramount for effective disease control. This factor is only achieved by having a machine which is capable of distributing the spray material to the targets effectively. The physical and mechanical factors which govern the efficacy of spray machines are reviewed in relation to the Gloria S 170 - 300 S motorised knap-sack mist blower, three manually operated hydraulic sprayers and one high pressure footboard mounted sprayer
