Effect of oil suspended fungicides on coffee berry disease and yields

Oil suspended fungicides applied at low volumes (22.60-30.00 1/ha) achieved equal levels of coffee berry disease control as the same products suspended in medium volume (500 1/ha) of water. However, the oil formulations gave lower coffee yields. The oils at their pure contrations caused premature berry drop, due to phytotoxic effect of oils on coffee berries. The oil formulated fungicides might not therefore control C.B.D. in Kenya
