Dwarf hybrid in coffee

Dwarf resistant hybrids involving Coffea arabica var. San Ramon (dwarf) and S.795 selection (CCRI) Agaro, Cioccie (Ethiopian origin) show segregation into dwarfs and normal spreading in the proportion of about 70:30. The present paper gives the results of correlation attempted between height of seedlings at "soldier stage" and the types of plants arising out of different height classes. Though no such correlations is possible it is seen that high proportion of seedlings in low heigh classes are dwarfs like San Ramon plants
