Modernización de la cacaocultura orgánica del Alto Beni, Bolivia

The USAID's program for Alternative Development in Bolivia aims at reducing the cultivation of coca for cocaine by supporting the cultivation and marketing of licit crop, such as cocoa. The Project will help to prevent the illegal cultivation of coca in the Alto Beni by: 1) increasing and diversifying the production and the yield of cocoa plantations, and 2) increasing the volume of certified organic cocoa from Alto Beni reaching specialty markets.
