Sensibilidade de Corticium salmonicolor a fungicidas in vitro
Seventy fungicides, including 23 systemics were tested in vitro against Corticium salmonicolor the causal agent of cacao pink disease, with a view to selecting promising products for further testing in greenhouse and field trials. All products were iniatially tested at 500 ppm, while those products which showed effectiveness at this concentration were further tested at 200, 100, 50, 10 or 1 ppm. The most effective products were BAS 42100 F and Busan 30 CE, both of which completely inhibited mycelial growth of C. salmonicolor at 1 ppm of active ingredient BAS 42100 F was fungitoxic while Busan CE, was fungistatic in action. CGA 64250, Rodisan, Derosal 60 PM, Benlate and Tecto 60 were effective at 10 ppm while Delsene M, Disthane and BAS 3170 F inhibited mycelial growth at 50 ppm.
