Contribuicao ao estudo da viabilidade e variabilidade de alguns isolados de Phytophthora do cacau (Theobroma cacao L.)
Contribution to the study of the viability and variability of some Phytophthora isolates from cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.). In the present paper the authors studies 5 strains of Phytophthora isolated from cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) maintened in distilled water and PDA, concerning on the viability and pathogenicity. With 3 of the 5 strains were carried out experiments on the zoosporanges and chlamidosporos productions, under different conditions of nutrition (PDA, carrot and pea culture media) and temperatures (21 centigrade grade, 24 centigrade grade and 27 centigrade grade). The authors concluded that there were no differences among the three temperatures; regarding the culture media, carrot and pea showed better results than PDA
