Incidence of Phytophthora palmivora (Butl.) on cacao Catongo
This report describes the severe incidence of Phytophthora palmivora (Butl.) Butl. on cacao "Catongo" (mutant of Theobroma leiocarpa var. comum) planted at the Farm. Engenho D'Agua, in Município de S. Francisco do Conde, Bahia. The fundamental conclusion drawn from this report is to forecast that the cacao "Catongo" does not possess any resistant character to this fungus strain isolated from infected pods of cacao
