Efecto del nivel de cloruro de potasio en la formación de agallas en trasplantes de café y en la reproducción de Meloidogyne exigua
The effect of potassium chloride on Meloidogyne exigua in coffee transplants was studied under greenhouse conditions. The dosages were 0, 10, 20 and 30 g of KCI/pot of 4 1 capacity and each plant was inoculated with 5 000 eggs at transplanting time. Number of galls and of eggs per root system, evaluated 50 days later, were proportionally reduced with the increase of KCI levels in the soil.
