Experiencias silviculturais para o manejo de rendimento sustentado dentro do domínio da floresta tropical atlántica

The degradation of the Atlantic Coast Rain Forest by excessive harvest of forest products has led researchers to seek alternative management practices for sustained productivity and the preservation of biodiversity within forest communities. Understanding species interaction and successional dynamics in primary and secondary forest are key elements for sustained yield management. This focus of research is on in situ studies of key economic species to understand their role in the natural community.
