Fitossociologia da vegetacao arbórea da mata ciliar de Ribeirao Claro, municipio de Rio Claro-SP

The present study was of a gallery forest in the Ribeirao Claro, at Rio Claro - SP. The point-centred quarter method (Curtis, 1950 apud COTTAM & CURTIS, 1956) was used for phytosociological survey. The H'diversity index of the forest was 2.855 and the total density was estimated at 1.180.9 trees/ha. The most important specie was Inga vera Willd.
