Several intensities of sustained yield management regimes were tested in an area of tropical forest at Linhares Forest Reserve belonging to Cia. Vale do Rio Doce - CVRD, located in the municipality of Linhares, State of Espirito Santo, Brazil. The statistical design for this test was Complete Random Blocks with live replications and nine treatments. This test was installed in 1980 and data collected before and after thinning (1980), and in 1983, 1987 and 1990.
