Air drying and preservation of six wood species from Honduras

The properties of air drying and the full cell pressure treatment with salts on six wood species from Honduras was studied. Evaluation was on basis of the extent of penetration and retention of preservative chemicals. Treating variables studies included moisture content determination, seasoning of the wood, pressure treatments, air drying, final quality and recommended uses
