Ergonomic and biological aspects of human work in agroforestry production systems

The production of an enterprise depends largely on the potential and functioning of work systems. In work intensive production systems output are highly dependent on the physical work capacity of man, a parameter subject to considerable constraints in rural regions of the tropics, i.e. climate, tools, work technique and type of work procedures. Their analysis and design requires consideration of human conditions and demands, and will permit sustainable, calculable production.
