Nitrogen supply and animal production from pastures
In this review, limitations on nitrogen supply from the soil, methods of increasing nitrogen availability to the pasture plants, the effects of these procedures on the yields and nutritional quality of the herbage, and alternative management strategies which can be used to optimize nitrogen supply in animal production systems are discussed
