A guide to information and policy analysis for agricultural decision making in Latin America and The Caribbean
This document illustrates the role of information for policy analysis within the conceptual framework developed by PROPLAN. In tis sense, the document defines information as a product of a process that is only meaningful when carried out within an explicit conceptual framework. Different aspects of data gathering, modelling for policy analysis, complemented with some examples on assessing impact of alternative policies, are presented in this work.
