La eficacia de ivermectin anhela interina inyección (LAI) contra ectoparásitos del ganado

These results demonstrate that ivermectin LAI administered at the recommended dose of 630 meg/kg provides effective control of established infestations of Boophilus microplus and prevents development of ticks acquired for 75 days after treatment. Further, reproductive capabilities of ticks are significantly reduced for up to three months after treatment. Ivermectin LAI, therefore, is a valuable tool for use in a tick control program
