Recommendations are given for the ecological and chemical management of a peach palm plantation to control disease. The most economically significant pathogens appear to be: Thielaviopsis and Chalaropsis in the seed, Colletotrichum in the leaf, Erwinia and Phytophthora in the stem and cork root syndrome.
