全球已就控制与根除小反刍兽疫工作达成共识。加大对根除小反刍兽疫运动的投入将会有力促进粮食安全，帮助世界最脆弱的牧区和农村的农牧民们减贫脱困。这也将直接惠及发生疫情国家成千上万牧民和饲养牲畜的小农，帮助他们维持生计。
