Intensive sheep production in the Near East
This paper tries to identify and demonstrate appropriate procedures for intensifying sheep production in breeding/fattening as well as in fattening units. It describes the levels of production that could be expected by following the various procedures involved, the management practices that should be followed, and the construction and equipment required. These elements are based on the experiences gained in Cyprus
